Bill Gates has bribed the Nigerian Government $10m to pass a law to test vaccines on children.
False. There is no record of any payment of this amount.
An article on website ‘Natural News’ claims that Bill Gates has given a $10 million bribe to the Nigerian House of Representatives to pass legislation to use Nigerian children in vaccine experiments.
This is false, whilst the Gates Foundation does fund vaccine research there is no record of a payment of this amount. The Nigerian House of Representatives have been considering the Infectious Diseases Control Bill, which this article makes reference to. The Bill has been controversial as some perceive that it gives too much power to the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control in the management of infectious diseases, with some concerned that it could infringe on human rights with the power to issue fines to citizens for noncompliance. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation have been working with organisations such as the Africa Centers for Disease Control, concerned that COVID-19 could overwhelm the health services there. Bill Gates has spent hundreds of millions of dollars through the Gates Foundation to find faster ways to develop vaccines and create disease-tracking systems, saying that “We must make this the decade of vaccines. Vaccines already save and improve millions of lives in developing countries. Innovation will make it possible to save more children than ever before.”
Vaccines are designed to aid the body’s immune system by helping it produce disease-fighting antibodies to specific diseases. There is no vaccine yet for COVID-19, but an international scientific effort is underway to try to find one, which the WHO is coordinating. We have written before about vaccine concerns and forced vaccination, as well as supposed links to Bill Gates. According to the WHO, vaccination is very safe and side effects from a vaccine are usually minor and temporary.
